Policies/Procedures:

All residents of Alameda County who are HIV positive and especially those who qualify as "low income" are eligible to enroll in our Client Services programs. We are eager to accept appointments for first timers. If you need to know more call and ask to speak with a Case Manager: (510) 663-7979

We want to make sure that you get all of the HIV related services you need upon your arrival so make sure you know what to bring:
1. Letter of Diagnosis dated within the last 30 days
2. Proof of income
3. Proof of Alameda County residency
4. Photo ID
5. Laboratory Blood Work (within 90 days of appointment)

Notes:

APEB Wellness Center provides: Primary Health Care, Acute Care, Physicals, Vaccines and a variety of HIV related Lab work. The Wellness Center also includes a Counseling Center staffed by two Psychologists, and a mental health Case Worker. Patients with concerns about issues related to mental health, substance use, anxiety, depression, or who may just feel like they need to talk are eligible for free counseling with our skilled team.
