Policies/Procedures:
Patients with Appointments: Patients who have previously been registered and have been given return appointments will also need to register before coming to the Dental Clinic.
Patients seeking DROP-IN EMERGENCY services: Sign in time is 5:30 A.M. to 6:30 A.M. The providers will determine the order to be seen based on the most critical dental needs.
Every patient, new or returning, must register for the Dental Clinic on the first floor, Outpatient Dental Registration, Area E-1.
If you arrive prior to the 6:30 A.M. opening of the Dental Registration, patients should sign in at the information booth located on the fourth floor of the K Building, next to the elevators and around the corner from the Emergency Department.
If patients arrive at or after 6:30 A.M., please sign in at the Dental Registration located on E1.

Cost/Fees:
ACMC offers financial assistance to patients that qualify based on level of income and residency requirements. Most patients whose level of income is less than 350% of the Federal Poverty Level guidelines will receive a discount from full charges. Patients whose level of income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level guidelines may be eligible for HealthPAC (Health Plan of Alameda County) which covers the full cost of care with only small co-payments. ACMC’s mission is to maintain and improve the health of all County residents regardless of their ability to pay.
Appointment Availability:
Emergency drop-in dental services are available Monday through Friday mornings, starting at 6:30 A.M. Providers will determine the order seen based on the most critical dental needs. Appointments will be provided where appropriate.
