The following websites provide information to help you afford medications. Pharmaceutical companies offer free prescription medications to persons who meet certain income requirements.
Alameda County offers its residents a free discount prescription card to help lower their cost of obtaining prescription drugs. Enrollment is for Alameda County residents only.
If you are a Medicare beneficiary, use the Medicare Prescription Drug Finder to find the best Medicare Part D plan for you.
For more assistance choosing a Medicare Part D drug plan, the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) provides free community education and counseling.
