Need Help with Prescription Drug Costs

Alameda County offers its residents a free discount prescription card to help lower their cost of obtaining prescription drugs. Enrollment is for Alameda County residents only.

If you are a Medicare beneficiary, use the Medicare Prescription Drug Finder to find the best Medicare Part D plan for you.

For more assistance choosing a Medicare Part D drug plan, the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) provides free community education and counseling. Individual appointments are available at over 30 locations throughout Alameda County. To request an appointment, call (510) 839-0393 or (800) 393-0363.
